LUX-MEDICUS TERMS OF SERVICE
LUX MEDICUS FINLAND OY
1. Services and Service Provider
1.1 The service provider is Lux Medicus Finland Oy, Business ID 3122119-9, registered address Fredrikinkatu 64 A 4, 00100 Helsinki, Finland (hereinafter Lux Medicus).
1.2 Lux Medicus provides aesthetic medicine, cosmetic and trichology services (hereinafter the Services) in accordance with the service list and the agreement concluded with the client.
1.3 The Services are published on the website www.lux-medicus.fi (hereinafter the Website).
1.4 The prices of Services are published on the Website.
The price may consist of a booking/preparation fee and a procedure fee.
The booking/preparation fee covers preparation of medical products, equipment usage, sterilisation, staff time and appointment reservation.
1.5 Services are provided at a pre-agreed time and location.
1.6 A client is a person who has entered into a written or oral agreement with Lux Medicus.
Booking an appointment is considered an oral agreement.
1.7 The agreement remains valid until the agreed Services have been provided or until terminated in accordance with these Terms.
2. Obligations of Lux Medicus
2.1 To provide Services professionally and with due medical and professional care.
2.2 To ensure that all Services are provided by qualified personnel with appropriate education and legal authorization.
2.3 Medical procedures are provided only by medical professionals in accordance with Finnish legislation.
2.4 To inform the client prior to the procedure about its nature, possible effects and aftercare.
2.5 To ask the client about contraindications before providing the Service.
2.6 To provide Services in accordance with the valid price list.
2.7 To comply with the service agreement.
3. Obligations of the Client
3.1 To familiarize themselves with these Terms before booking or purchasing Services.
3.2 To arrive on time for the appointment.
In case of late arrival or no-show, Lux Medicus has the right to cancel the appointment without refund.
3.3 To behave appropriately during the visit and not attend under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
3.4 To inform Lux Medicus at least 24 hours in advance if unable to attend the appointment.
Failure to do so may result in loss of the appointment or payment.
3.5 In case of complications after a procedure, the client must contact Lux Medicus immediately.
4. Withdrawal from the Agreement (14 days)
4.1 The client has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days from the date of purchase or booking without stating a reason, unless the Service has already been fully provided with the client’s prior explicit consent.
4.2 For oral agreements, the withdrawal period starts from the booking date.
4.3 To withdraw, the client must submit a written withdrawal request by email to info@medicus.ee.
5. Refunds – Unused Services
5.1 If the Services have not been used, the client is entitled to a full refund.
5.2 Refunds are made to the original payment method or via the payment provider (e.g. Klarna).
6. Refunds – Partially Used Courses or Packages
6.1 If a course or package has been partially used, Lux Medicus will recalculate the cost as follows:
- All completed procedures and visits are recalculated at the regular single-session price (without package discounts).
- The refundable amount equals:
Total amount paid minus the recalculated value of used Services.
6.2 The remaining unused balance will be refunded to the client.
7. Installment Payments (Klarna and Others)
7.1 The client may pay for Services via installment or payment providers such as Klarna.
7.2 In case of withdrawal or termination, Lux Medicus will notify the payment provider of the recalculated refundable amount.
7.3 Lux Medicus refunds only amounts actually received by Lux Medicus.
8. Early Termination for Valid Reason
8.1 The client may terminate the agreement before completion only for a valid and documented reason, such as:
medical contraindication,
long-term illness.
8.2 Written notice must be submitted at least 5 days in advance.
9. Booking Fee and Preparation Costs
9.1 Costs related to preparation, reserved staff time, medical products and sterilisation are included in the booking/preparation fee.
9.2 These costs are taken into account when recalculating refunds for partially used Services.
10. Liability
10.1 Each party is liable for fulfilling its contractual obligations.
10.2 Lux Medicus is not liable for adverse results if the client has failed to disclose relevant medical information.
10.3 Results may vary individually and no specific outcome is guaranteed.
10.4 The client is responsible for full payment of Services used.
11. Complaints
11.1 Complaints must be submitted in writing to info@medicus.ee.
11.2 Complaints will be reviewed and answered within 14 days.
11.3 If necessary, the client may contact a competent dispute resolution body or court in Finland.
12. Appointment Rules
12.1 Clients must arrive 5–10 minutes early.
12.2 Missed appointments without notice may result in loss of the appointment or payment.
12.3 Packages are valid for 12 months unless otherwise agreed.
13. Pricing and Special Offers
13.1 Prices are based on the valid price list or promotional offers.
13.2 If a discounted package is terminated early, completed Services are recalculated at regular prices.
13.3 Remaining value may be refunded or converted into a gift card.
