The Lux-Medicus Clinic takes all precautions (including administrative, technical and physical) to protect the customer personal data. The processing of personal data in the Lux-Medicus Clinic takes place on the basis established by law as well as in accordance with the requirements of data protection and the privacy policy adopted by the Clinic.

According to article 5 of the Personal Data Protection Act, personal data processing means all actions performed with personal data both individually and together, including their collection, recording, grading, storing, changing, providing access to data, making requests, using data, transmitting it, cross-using, combining, blocking, excluding or destroying it, regardless of the methods of such execution or the means used.

In order to provide medical services, a medical professional of the Lux-Medicus Clinic may need to review the patient personal data in the Health Information System or in another database of any form before the appointment. If the patient cancels the visit or does not show up for an appointment after the medical staff of the Lux- Medicus Clinic have read the personal data for the purpose of providing medical services, the reviewing the patient’s personal data with the aim of providing medical services shall be considered reasonable.

The Lux-Medicus Clinic keeps confidential information about the patient’s identity, health status and personal life received for the provision of medical services The Lux-Medicus Clinic may retain the fact of providing medical services for the purpose of documentation. In order to protect the personal data of other patients, photography, audio recording and shooting at the Lux-Medicus Clinic is allowed only with the written consent of the Management Board of the Lux- Medicus Clinic. Response to a request A request of a person to the Clinic is answered by email or phone. Depending on the sensitivity of the request, the response is sent by email with or without a script.
